The region was total settling in the 2nd half of the 20th century. Much local people were employed in agriculture. At the beginning of the 60th, the wide area of cooperative society Kovo Bela nad Radbuzou was open and the growing number of employees needed to solve a housing and school situation. So step by step blocks of flats were built in two housing developments and a new school was opened in 1976. The former school building was rebuilt into the House with domiciliary services. Bela nad Radbuzou obtains a town statute in 1964.

In the 90th, there were built sewerage plants in Bela nad Radbuzou and Zelezna and there was installed a natural gas. The building-up of flats continues even after 2000 – the new barrack was rebuilt into 52 flats and there was built up ten new bungalows near the House with domiciliary services. In the area of Bela basic school there is a new playing field with football field, tennis and volleyball courts, running track and jumping sectors. The playing field has artificial light. The former castle park and in Zelezna was renewed and was made available.

Bela and its surrounding offer favorable conditions for tourism. The large part of Bela’s area was in the border where you cannot go in until 90th of 20th century and so the nature keeps its own natural beauty and attraction. The area which was earlier left out is interlaced with cycle lanes which traverse forest terrain and almost virgin nature.
